Every project starts with a conversation.
You might already have a beat from my library you'd like to develop, or you may be starting with nothing more than an idea. Whether it's a single, EP, album or something completely different, we'll chat through what you're looking to create and how you'd like to work.
There's no fixed formula. Some artists know exactly what they want, while others prefer to figure things out as the project develops. Either way, I'll adapt to the way you like to work and help shape your ideas into a finished record.
Getting Started
Once we've discussed the project, I'll provide a quote based on what's involved.
For larger projects, I'll usually ask for a deposit before work begins, with the remaining balance due once the production has been signed off and is ready for delivery.
If the scope of the project changes along the way, we'll simply discuss it. I'd much rather keep things flexible than force a project into a package that no longer fits.
During the Process
Production is naturally a back-and-forth process.
As the track develops, I'll send demo versions throughout so you can listen, give feedback and decide what feels right. If something isn't working, we'll change it. If a new idea comes up halfway through, we'll explore it.
Every project develops differently, so the process stays flexible around the music rather than the other way around.
Completing the Project
Once you're happy with the final production, I'll prepare the project for delivery.
To keep projects moving, completed productions should ideally be signed off within 30 days of receiving the final demo. This gives you plenty of time to sit with the record while also allowing us to wrap everything up smoothly.
If you need a little longer, just let me know. Communication is always appreciated, and I'm happy to be flexible where possible.
Final Delivery
Once final payment has been received, you'll receive the agreed project files.
For production projects, this will typically include the production stems, along with any other files we've agreed beforehand.
If mixing and mastering is included, this will be completed before the final files are delivered.
Mixing & Mastering
Mixing and mastering can either be included as part of your production package or added separately.
We'll discuss what's needed before we begin so you know exactly what's included from the start.
